Eskişehir Osmangazi University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (ESOGU TÖMER) organized a trip to Bursa on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 in order to increase the knowledge of Turkish history and culture of the students receiving Turkish preparatory education. The trip, which was also attended by ESOGU TÖMER management and academic staff, started with Cumalıkızık village. After breakfast, the students were informed about Cumalıkızık village and observed Anatolian Turkish architecture. Then they went to the Panorama 1326 Conquest Museum. Here, the students were informed about the conquest of Bursa, one of the first capitals of the Ottoman Empire, and the place of the region in Turkish history. After the museum visit, the students visited the Grand Mosque and wandered around the historical bazaar. After the free time here, the students returned to Eskişehir after dinner in Barakfakih.
