A handover ceremony was held at the Eskişehir Osmangazi University Center for Turkish Language Teaching, Application, and Research (ESOGÜ TÖMER). At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuba Onat Çakıroğlu, who assumed the directorship of ESOGÜ TÖMER, thanked Prof. Dr. Oktay Berber for his valuable contributions to the Center’s work during his tenure. Satisfaction was expressed not only with the dedicated, patient, constructive, and cheerful approach demonstrated by Prof. Dr. Oktay Berber during his tenure but also with his contributions to the implementation of ESOGÜ TÖMER’s educational and institutional activities.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuba Onat Çakıroğlu stated that she would continue the role she assumed from Prof. Dr. Oktay Berber alongside her new management team, and expressed that she and her Deputy Directors, Dr. Aliye Nur Ercan Güven and Dr. Saniye Eraslan Kaleli, would strive to take the work of ESOGÜ TÖMER to the next level. Associate Professor Dr. Tuba Onat Çakıroğlu, emphasizing that the academic and administrative staff and students of ESOGÜ TÖMER form a strong community, stated that the Center’s family-like culture will be preserved and strengthened in the coming period.
The handover ceremony concluded with expressions of gratitude to Prof. Dr. Oktay Berber for his work to date and his contributions to ESOGÜ TÖMER, as well as best wishes for success to the new management team.
